• Role: Early Career Accountant
• Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Hybrid East Brunswick, NJ
• Mission: Support daily accounting activities and month-end processes while building a foundational understanding of corporate finance.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Contribute to day-to-day accounting activities and month-end processes to ensure timely completion.
• Review: Examine financial data, reconciliations, and reports thoroughly for accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve: Identify discrepancies in financial information and assist in the resolution of accounting issues.
• Analyze: Support financial reporting efforts and conduct general accounting analysis as required.
• Maintain: Ensure all financial records are accurate, well-organized, and easily accessible for future reference.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, suitable for an early-career accounting position.
• Experience: Approximately 1–2 years of prior accounting experience.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, demonstrated analytical ability with acute attention to detail, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Previous experience in public accounting or a Big 4 environment, experience working within a mid-to-large organization, currently pursuing a CPA designation, or a strong academic background.
