• Pay: $22.50–$40.25 hourly
• Mission: Perform entry-level accounting tasks including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, tax compliance, analysis, and special projects.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Create reports on financial performance for both internal and external use.
• Projects & Requests: Take part in special projects and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests.
• Forecasting: Estimate various forecast and budget scenarios.
• Data Management: Specify, build, maintain, and run data extracts from various subsystems that contain account-level information.
• Transaction Processing: Post entries, verify, and reconcile input to financial reporting systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently pursuing an Accounting degree at a 4-year accredited university/college, and maintaining this status throughout the internship program. This is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA (both Accounting GPA & Cumulative GPA) and 12 completed semester hours at a 4-year university before the start of the internship.
• Skills: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy, ability to determine root causes of problems and create solutions, effective communication, ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, and knowledge of approaches for recognizing and resolving problems.
• Bonus: Previous accounting internship or relevant work experience, completion of Intermediate Accounting or the first 300-level accounting course by the start of the internship, strong initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills, leadership involvement in student associations, and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
