What You’ll Actually Do
• Ledger Management: Accurately review expense ledgers and prepare for monthly financial closing.
• Expense Oversight: Oversee employee expense reimbursements and manage company credit card accounts.
• Asset Tracking: Analyze fixed asset schedules and calculate monthly depreciation expenses.
• Month-End Close: Process accurate journal entries and conduct account reconciliations for month-end close.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare key financial reports including balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and internal quarterly financial statements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required; entry-level candidates with relevant internships will be considered.
• Experience: 0-3 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Solid understanding of accounting practices and controls, strong analytical skills with an ability to conduct in-depth research and recommend solutions, excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay technical information, attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Bonus: Bilingual in Korean and English desired, multi-state tax experience desired, CPA or EA preferred.
