Accountant | Iyuno

The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. Iyuno is a leading global localization service provider to the media and entertainment industry, partnering with major studios, streaming platforms, and creators worldwide. The company delivers a comprehensive suite of services including dubbing, subtitling, access services, media management, transformation, and distribution across over 100 languages. This Accountant position is pivotal for maintaining the accuracy and compliance of daily financial operations, directly contributing to Iyuno’s mission of connecting content and connecting people on a global scale.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Daily Operations: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
• Perform Reconciliations: Conduct bank and general ledger account reconciliations to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare Journal Entries: Create and post all necessary journal entries to support comprehensive financial record-keeping.
• Support Period-End: Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and support the preparation of financial reporting.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, and support audit processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possesses a strong foundational understanding of general accounting practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.
• Experience: Proven experience with financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing processes, and supporting audits and compliance activities. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, provide data-driven recommendations, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Skills: Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with financial databases or BI tools. Exhibits excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Bonus: Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus. Prior experience within the media, entertainment industry, or a global, multi-entity organization is highly beneficial.
