Intern, BMW Motorrad Aftersales Business Development | BMW Group

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at BMW Motorrad, located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. BMW Motorrad is the motorcycle division of the BMW Group, driving customer satisfaction and brand growth through its aftersales business. This role is crucial for enhancing the customer experience, supporting dealer success, and contributing to strategic business development within the motorcycle industry. Interns work on meaningful projects and gain exposure to various business functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Experience: Collaborate with the Retail Process Development & eCommerce team to enhance the online customer experience by managing product content and supporting digital retail initiatives.
• Product Management: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product catalogs for BMW Motorrad riding gear, accessories, and lifestyle collections.
• Dealer Operations: Engage directly with BMW Motorrad dealers by helping resolve inquiries and supporting daily Aftersales business operations.
• Business Analysis: Analyze business performance data and develop reports that identify opportunities to improve dealer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and profitability.
• Strategic Projects: Participate in real-world projects that address emerging market trends, new technologies, and strategic business opportunities within the motorcycle industry.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application. Field of Study: Business or Marketing.
• Experience: No specific years required, but must have US Work Authorization and the ability to work part-time (at least 20 hours/week).
• Skills: Business fluent English, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bonus: Interest/ability to ride motorcycles and/or knowledge of motorcycles, knowledge in any graphic related software.
