The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at PwC, located in various US locations. This role is crucial for assisting clients with technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics, particularly around deals and other transformational business events. What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Support: Support teams in the execution of capital markets transactions and advisory services for clients.
• Financial Reporting: Participate in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Accounting Application: Assist with the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial reporting.
• Project Coordination: Engage in project management tasks to streamline workflow and meet project goals.
• Data Analysis: Utilize Alteryx for automation and data analysis to enhance financial insights for client engagements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. This is an entry-level role intended for job seekers in their third or fourth year of a degree program. Must meet educational requirements to be eligible for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time.
• Experience: Exposure to project management and coordination, and experience applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Skills: Apply a learning mindset, appreciate diverse perspectives, actively listen and express ideas clearly, gather information to analyze facts, and commit to building commercial awareness.
• Bonus: Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA, demonstrating knowledge in Capital Markets Transactions, utilizing Alteryx for data automation and analysis, participating in organization restructuring initiatives, supporting transaction advisory services activities, and leveraging AI to create efficiencies.
