What You’ll Actually Do
• Guidance & Development: Receive one-on-one mentorship, engage in talent development workshops focused on professional skills, and participate in Meet Your Leaders sessions for insights into Lockton’s business, trends, and career journeys.
• Operational Impact: Be embedded within Lockton’s Accounting Operations team, collaborating on hands-on projects such as pulling workflow data, interacting with international teams, and running root cause reviews to document errors.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Tackle a real-world challenge facing Lockton and the insurance industry in groups of 2-3 interns, presenting your findings and recommendations to Lockton leadership.
• Industry Exploration: Explore different specialty areas of the business through presentations, projects, and networking opportunities, gaining exposure to potential career paths within Lockton and the broader insurance industry.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level college student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
• Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of accounting practices and terminology, coupled with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Skills: Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
