What You’ll Actually Do
• Enroll in and complete the KATALYST program, a supply and trading development program for market-savvy university hires.
• Experience a dynamic immersion to the Phillips 66 energy value chain, including asset tours and discussions with subject matter experts.
• Complete targeted assignments within the Marketing organization in Houston, TX, to gain experiential learning and development.
• Apply focused analysis assignments, case studies, and presentations to business leaders to impact the business.
• Acquire professional and market acumen applicable to organizations such as Marketing, Lubricants, Specialties, Value Chain and Optimization, and Risk.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent field of study, or a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or MBA. Graduation date prior to December 31, 2026, or May 31, 2027.
• Experience: Legally authorized to work in the job posting country. Available to work at Houston, TX headquarters.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, business acumen, communication skills, innovative thinking, interest in trading, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Previous internship or co-op participation in a related industry. Mobile and open to relocate within the United States.
