The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time or Full-time
• Location: In-person Boston, MA
• Mission: Contribute to client engagements by completing audit testing, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and assisting in drafting audit reports.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Complete: Audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Reconcile: Account differences and analyze financial data by working with client personnel.
• Draft: Management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participate: In client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Working toward an accounting degree and CPA licensure eligibility.
• Experience: Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Skills: Effective time management, strong oral and written communication skills, close attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and against deadlines.
• Bonus: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, ability to work well with a team as well as independently, problem-solving attitude, willingness to take initiative, and reliable transportation for off-site meetings.
