Finance Leadership Development Program | BAE Systems, Inc.
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at BAE Systems, Inc., located initially in Southern NH with an onsite work format, followed by nationwide rotations. • Mission: Develop high potential, entry-level individuals into future finance leaders through a three-year rotational program that offers varied experiences, advanced education, and mentorship.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Experience diverse roles: Complete three, one-year rotational assignments, each with increasing responsibility, providing varied experiences within the Finance function across operational functions, business areas, and product groups nationwide.
• Network and contribute: Engage in a variety of networking opportunities and strategic project initiatives throughout the program to broaden your professional connections and impact business outcomes.
• Advance education: Pursue and complete a graduate degree, such as an MBA, on a part-time basis, with BAE Systems providing tuition assistance for your chosen program, provided it is applicable to the business.
• Develop leadership skills: Participate in an annual, week-long leadership development conference (LDC) to receive personalized leadership training and network with senior BAE Systems executives and other program participants.
• Receive career guidance: Benefit from an assigned mentor who will provide guidance in choosing rotations, foster career development, and assist with off-program placement into permanent roles.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with a business-related focus (required for FLDP I) or a Master’s degree (required for FLDP II), suitable for an entry-level leadership development program.
• Experience: Varying levels of experience are accepted for this three-year rotational program, which is designed to accelerate career development from day one.
• Skills: Demonstrated leadership qualities, superior communication skills, ability and willingness to relocate and work at various sites, and a high capacity and motivation for hard work.
• Bonus: Proven achievement in non-academic pursuits such as athletics, clubs and organizations, special projects, military service, and prior work experience; must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
