Consultant Senior Consolidation & Normes comptables (AAS) F/H | KPMG

This is a full-time role at KPMG, located in La Défense (Tour EQHO), France. The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: CDI
• Location: Hybrid – France (Île-de-France)
• Team: Accounting Standards & Consolidation (AAS) team within KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services.
• Mission: Assist finance functions of various groups in preparing, publishing, and managing their group financial information and specific operations related to consolidation and accounting standards.
• Tech Stack: BFC, Viareport, Amelkis, HFM.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Establish: Establish consolidated financial statements according to French and IFRS standards, either through assistance or full outsourcing of the process.
• Contribute: Contribute to implementing or improving client consolidation processes.
• Participate: Participate in IFRS conversion missions or the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Assist: Assist clients with accounting standards, tax accounting, and the digitalization of financial, extra-financial, and tax information.
• Support: Provide expert support for specific projects such as acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, changes in shareholding, market operations, or the implementation of new consolidation tools (e.g., IFRS 16, Pillar 2, XBRL).

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree from a Business School, Master 2 program, or an Engineering School.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in consolidation, gained within an audit firm, consulting firm, or company setting.
• Skills: Rigor and the capacity to invest in complex subjects, strong analytical and synthesis skills, excellent written and oral communication, team spirit and proactivity, good command of English.
• Bonus: Knowledge of consolidation software, such as BFC, Viareport, Amelkis, HFM, or other relevant platforms.
