Analyst, Site Selection & Incentives Advisory | Kroll
The Tone:
This is a full-time Analyst role within Kroll’s Tax practice, specifically within the Site Selection & Incentives Advisory practice. This position is vital for assisting companies in assessing and selecting new locations for their operations, and for accessing the myriad tax and other financial incentives offered by state and local governments. What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Collaboration: Cooperate with professionals and clients to establish location parameters and gather data for site selection decisions.
• Financial Modeling: Develop discounted cash flow models to analyze and compare the benefits and advantages of various sites under consideration.
• Data Compilation: Gather essential data from state and local communities to support the developed financial models.
• Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present location analysis, comprehensive reports regarding potential financial incentives, and proposals and qualifications to professionals and prospective clients.
• Incentive Negotiation: Assist professionals in creating and executing negotiation strategies on behalf of clients seeking credits and grants for projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance), Management (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance), or an MBA from an accredited college or university. This Analyst-level position requires a Major GPA of 3.0 and is suitable for those graduating between December 2026 and July 2027. Ability to work full-time no later than July 2026 is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of site selection methods, processes, and analysis is essential, alongside familiarity with the financial incentives (both statutory and discretionary in nature) available in the multi-state region. A proven track record relevant to previous work experience is also required.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are critical for this role. Candidates must also possess demonstrated interpersonal and client relationship skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a proven dedication to teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is also a requirement.
