Consultant Senior Evaluation & Modélisation Financière – F/H | KPMG

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at KPMG, located in Nantes, France. KPMG is France’s leading multidisciplinary firm, recognized as a preferred employer in audit and consulting, offering expertise in Audit, Consulting, Law & Tax. This role is crucial for the Evaluation & Financial Modeling team, helping clients make informed decisions, accurately price transactions, address accounting and tax implications, and monitor post-acquisition value creation. The position contributes directly to supporting clients from CAC 40 companies to mid-sized businesses with their complex financial challenges.

• Mission: This person evaluates companies and assets, constructs financial models, and provides strategic support to clients on critical transactional, accounting, and fiscal decisions while also mentoring junior team members.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Evaluation: Evaluate companies within fiscal, legal, or transactional contexts.
• Asset Valuation: Conduct valuations for both tangible and intangible assets.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Perform Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and impairment tests, and assist KPMG’s audit teams in reviewing PPA and impairment tests.
• Management Packages: Assess and value Management Packages.
• Departmental Development: Support the professional growth of junior consultants and contribute to cross-functional departmental development activities such as commercial initiatives, recruitment, and training.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s Degree (BAC +4/5 or Master 2) from a Business School or Engineering School with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience within an evaluation team, an investment bank, or a top-tier audit firm in audit or transaction services functions.
• Skills: Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, excellent written and oral communication, a rigorous approach, the ability to engage with complex subjects, a proactive mindset, and a team-oriented spirit. Strong proficiency in English.
• Bonus: Ideally, proficiency in a second foreign language.
