Corporate Vice President – Enterprise Reporting & Investments | New York Life Insurance Company

The Tone:

This role is crucial for providing senior end-to-end technology leadership, connecting AI-led Portfolio Management with enterprise planning and performance. It ensures trusted, timely reporting and the integration of investment decisions with critical enterprise financial planning, forecasting, and reporting outcomes.

• Team: Leads multidisciplinary outcome teams across Technology, Finance, Investments, and Data, within the TDAV organization.
• Mission: Own the end-to-end technology strategy and delivery for connecting investment decisions and portfolio data to enterprise financial planning, forecasting, and leadership reporting.
• Tech Stack: AI, generative AI, agentic technologies, APIs, cloud platforms, data and analytics, SDLC, Agile, Lean principles

What You’ll Actually Do
• Technology Strategy: Own the technology strategy and roadmap connecting portfolio decisions and investment activity to NII, earnings, capital, forecasts, and related FP&A capabilities.
• Reporting Innovation: Reimagine enterprise leadership reporting from static production toward continuously available, governed, drillable, and explainable information.
• Data Integrity & Controls: Partner to define authoritative data sources, architecture patterns, and ensure traceability and embedded controls from source investment information through Finance outputs.
• AI-Enabled Delivery: Lead multidisciplinary outcome teams, applying AI selectively for explanation, synthesis, and workflow acceleration, while managing strategic partners.
• Executive Partnership: Build trusted relationships with senior Investments, Finance, and Technology leaders to drive decisions, create transparency, and establish measures of business value.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Executive-level technology leader with 15+ years in technology, software engineering, solution delivery, digital transformation, investment technology, or data/analytics.
• Experience: Proven success owning end-to-end technology capabilities or major transformation domains, operating effectively in federated or matrixed enterprises, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Skills: Strong understanding of generative AI and agentic technologies, broad technology and engineering background (modern application development, APIs, data/analytics, cloud), and strong analytical, communication, and executive-influence capabilities.
• Bonus: Experience with investment accounting, FP&A, NII, capital, earnings forecasting, or finance technology, particularly integrating investment data with enterprise planning or applying AI to financial analysis.
