Corporate Vice President – Client & Distribution Technology | New York Life Insurance Company

The Tone:

This role is central to an AI-led transformation of Portfolio Management, aiming to revolutionize how investment capabilities and insights are communicated to clients and distribution partners through advanced technology solutions.

• Team: Leads the Client & Distribution Technology team within the AI-led Portfolio Management transformation.
• Mission: Owns the technology strategy and roadmap for client reporting and distribution, transforming manual processes into continuously available, governed, personalized, and intelligence-enabled capabilities.
• Tech Stack: Generative AI, agentic technologies, CRM, content-management, reporting platforms, document-generation, workflow, client-experience platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Technology Strategy: Own the end-to-end technology strategy and roadmap for client reporting, institutional distribution, RFP/DDQ workflows, and related client-service capabilities.
• AI Integration: Define and implement the responsible use of generative AI and agents for drafting, assembling, validating, and personalizing client and distribution content.
• Architectural Design: Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define scalable experience, content, workflow, API, integration, and agent patterns using authoritative data sources.
• Delivery Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary outcome teams, managing strategic partners and ensuring continuity from discovery through production, adoption, and ongoing enhancement.
• Executive Partnership: Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders, translating priorities into technology investments while embedding necessary controls and auditability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Executive level, with core domain knowledge in technology, software engineering, solution delivery, digital transformation, investment technology, or data/analytics.
• Experience: 15+ years of progressively responsible experience, including significant leadership responsibility in complex enterprise environments; proven success owning end-to-end technology capabilities or major transformation domains from strategy through implementation and measurable outcomes; demonstrated ability to operate in federated or matrixed enterprises.
• Skills: Domain Technology Leadership, AI-Enabled Transformation, Technology & Engineering Judgment, Executive Communication & Influence, Strategic Planning & Execution.
• Bonus: Experience with asset management distribution, institutional client service, client reporting, RFP/DDQ processes, or investment-content technology; applying generative AI to content workflows in a controlled environment; experience within asset management, insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
