What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor management and payment administration tasks.
• Accounts Receivable: Handle accounts receivable activities, accurately apply cash, and provide support for customer accounts.
• Reconciliations: Perform detailed account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve identified accounting problems.
• Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of financial reporting and specific project performance reports.
• Close Activities: Provide essential support for month-end and year-end close processes, alongside tax documentation and compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. This role is open to both recent graduates eager to learn and experienced professionals seeking to grow their careers within the accounting field.
• Experience: Internship, bookkeeping, or entry-level accounting experience is welcomed. Prior experience with core accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or account reconciliations is beneficial.
• Skills: Proficiency in fundamental accounting principles and practices; demonstrated ability in account reconciliation and problem resolution; competence in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable; capability to support financial reporting and month-end close activities; detail-orientation and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
• Bonus: Construction accounting experience is preferred, including knowledge of job costing, subcontractor processes, lien waivers, and project-based accounting. Experience with Sage 300 CRE or similar accounting software is a plus.
