CVP, Regional Sales Director – Stable Value Investment Only (SVIO) | New York Life Insurance Company

The Tone:

This role is crucial for directing sales efforts and expanding market presence for New York Life’s Stable Value offerings within the defined contribution space, directly impacting financial security for organizations and their participants.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Representation: Represent the full suite of New York Life Stable Value Investment Only products to market constituents.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a progressive business plan to achieve up to $500M in annual asset sales growth within the assigned territory.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with plan advisors, intermediaries, and fiduciaries in the Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Non-Qualified, and 529 Plan spaces.
• Sales Execution: Manage the entire sales process, encompassing prospecting, pipeline management, client presentations, and ongoing relationship management for opportunities sourced in market.
• Market Intelligence: Gather and synthesize market feedback regarding trends, competitors, and potential growth opportunities to inform strategy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Corporate Vice President-level professional with a strong foundation in financial services and in-depth knowledge of the Defined Contribution industry.
• Experience: At least 10 years in financial services, including 7-10 years industry experience in the Defined Contribution arena with a major provider, coupled with a proven track record of sales success and Sales CRM technology experience.
• Skills: Possession of or ability to obtain an Insurance producer license and FINRA Series 6 within 90 days of hire, established relationships with key intermediaries in the Western U.S., and a proven ability to present investment products to advisors, committees, and key decision makers.
• Bonus: Located in the Western U.S. region.
