This is a full-time role at ICF, available remotely from any U.S. location. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective project controls, and timely coordination across project teams for federal contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements within the Justice, Workforce, Preparedness, and Community Development Line of Business.

• Mission: Provide financial and administrative support for federal contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements, ensuring accurate reporting and effective project controls.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Support Project Managers and staff in preparing financial information for monthly client reporting.
• Project Status Updates: Provide timely financial status updates to Project Managers and the Finance & Administration Lead, covering burn rate, remaining backlog, and project profitability.
• Invoicing Coordination: Coordinate invoicing activities and conduct quality reviews for complex government contracts, including detailed line-item cost justifications.
• Data Management: Manage and provide quality control for data entry processes in online government systems of record.
• Client Communication: Serve as a regular point of contact for government clients on project financial and administrative matters.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Management, Communications, Public Policy, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in forecasting, data management, reporting, analysis, compliance, or finance.
• Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup functions, demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, working knowledge of basic finance processes and general accounting principles, and strong organizational skills with effective communication.
• Bonus: Preference will be given to candidates able to work within the eastern time zone.
