• Mission: Elevate the company’s global profile and reputation through strategic communication and media engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Executive Messaging: Develop and implement strategic thought leadership plans for company executives, identifying relevant trends and topics for contribution across owned and earned media, and speaking engagements.
• Storytelling: Collaborate with the global media team and internal stakeholders to proactively identify, develop, and pursue compelling story ideas that highlight the company’s leadership in technology and innovation.
• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key national and financial media writers and broadcast producers to generate top-tier media coverage and coordinate executive interviews from start to finish.
• Financial Communications: Partner with Investor Relations to support quarterly earnings activation and develop investor newsletter content to elevate key financial storylines and investment-related news.
• Content Creation: Draft high-quality media relations materials, including pitches, briefing documents, corporate press releases, and contributed content, demonstrating writing excellence throughout.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for journalism, communications, or English majors, focusing on corporate communications.
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience within a corporate communications department, a PR agency, or as a seasoned business journalist, with prior corporate experience being a requirement.
• Skills:
• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills for developing pitches, press releases, and contributed content.
• Strong media relations acumen, demonstrated by a hunger for securing top-tier coverage and successful execution of media strategies.
• Deep understanding of public company financial reporting and the ability to identify associated media storyline opportunities.
• Strategic thinking capabilities, enabling the ability to build networks, gather information, and translate it into clear communications plans aligned with company objectives.
• Polished executive presence and strong judgment, combined with the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization while managing detailed projects under pressure.
• Bonus: A creative mindset with a demonstrated history of turning original ideas into high-impact external media successes.
