Customer Operations Manager | Motorola Solutions

• Team: Reports to International Customer Operations Lead within Silvus.
• Mission: Manage purchase orders, production schedules, and delivery coordination to ensure components are delivered on time and integrated successfully into the customer’s long-term production roadmap.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Management: Lead post-sales customer relationships, addressing operational needs, managing escalations, and conducting QBRs on delivery performance, quality, and roadmap alignment.
• Demand Integration: Collaborate with customer demand planners to ingest production forecasts and translate them into actionable data for internal manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Delivery Assurance: Track and manage open purchase orders, collaborating with manufacturing and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays.
• Technical Liaison: Identify and resolve customer technical or integration challenges, partnering with Engineering and managing formal escalation processes for hardware defects or shipping delays.
• Product & Returns Management: Oversee component lifecycle, communicate End-of-Life notices, manage customer transitions, and handle the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process while advocating as the “Voice of the Customer” internally.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field, with a focus on post-sales, account management, or technical project management.
• Experience: 5+ years in a post-sales, account management, or technical project management role.
• Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and either German or Ukrainian; analytical ability to scrutinize complex spreadsheets and production schedules; demonstrated skill in translating high-level customer business needs into granular factory production constraints; and expertise in navigating logistical, legal, and contractual complexities in Germany and the Ukrainian theater.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the drone ecosystem (UAV regulations, flight controllers, propulsion systems) and experience managing military or defense-sector clients.
