CRi

CRi originated in the mid-1970s from a compassionate vision shared by Arlington, Virginia residents, churches, and government leaders. They aimed to transform the institutional treatment of individuals with mental illness, advocating for support within home communities through small residential settings. Today, CRi is a recognized leader, empowering individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental illness to live and thrive with dignity and respect across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

As a passionate, innovative, and ethical non-profit, CRi collaborates with public and private partners, providing programs that support personal growth, remove barriers, and foster independence. We deliver comprehensive supports throughout Northern Virginia, including Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Richmond counties.
