This role offers a challenging opportunity to contribute to the Accounting Department, assisting with critical fiscal year-end and audit activities. The Accounting Intern will play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency, directly supporting the company’s long-standing legacy of quality and reliability.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Support: Provide essential year-end audit support, including the precise pulling of source documents for verification.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with the accurate creation and detailed reporting of fixed assets.
• Month-End Close: Contribute to month-end close processes, specifically identifying and documenting accruals.
• Accounts Payable: Aid in the efficient processing of accounts payable invoices and vendor payments.
• Data Management: Coordinate information requests to subsidiaries, and diligently create and verify various financial spreadsheets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level undergraduate student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting. Successful completion of at least two semesters of Accounting Theory is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to utilize functions like Vlookup, filter/sort, and pivot tables.
• Skills: Proven analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a strong ability to adapt to new situations and challenges. A professional and positive attitude is essential for collaboration within the team.
• Bonus: Prior experience with SAP software is desirable but not strictly required for this role.
