Accounting and Finance Development Program – January 2027 | Precision Castparts
The Tone:
This is an early career, two-year rotational development program at Precision Castparts, located in various facilities across the U.S. Precision Castparts, a leading manufacturing company, designed this program to cultivate future leaders in its Accounting and Finance functions within its facilities. The role is specifically crafted for recent graduates, providing a high-velocity learning experience complete with extensive opportunities. Successful participants will be prepared for significant leadership positions across PCC’s diverse manufacturing accounting and finance operations.

• Mission: Empower emergent talent through high-velocity learning experiences and opportunities, preparing them for leadership in Manufacturing Accounting/Finance within Precision Castparts facilities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Build Foundations: Engage in comprehensive learning experiences during the first year, focusing on the foundational aspects of Manufacturing Accounting and Finance, including general accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Drive Analysis: Perform financial analysis and contribute to strategic improvement initiatives within one of Precision Castparts’ manufacturing facilities.
• Execute Strategic Projects: Transition into a strategic role in the second year at a different PCC location, actively participating in capital acquisitions and financial planning processes.
• Ensure Compliance & Efficiency: Contribute to budgeting, Internal Audit/SOX compliance, and system implementation projects, gaining exposure to critical operational and regulatory functions.
• Engage & Grow: Actively engage with multiple organizational levels—Plant, Division, and Corporate—gaining broad business insight. Benefit from personalized 1:1 mentorship, participate in in-person training sessions led by industry experts and PCC leadership, and utilize an extensive online library of over 50k courses, books, and podcasts to support continuous professional development and college-to-career transition.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a preference for Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Requires a minimum of 12 credit hours in accounting and prior co-op or internship experience. Candidates must be a U.S. Person and willing to relocate to various U.S. locations, with options to preference specific regions for placement.
• Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrate a high level of interest in management and leadership roles, evidenced by involvement in clubs, organizations, or activities in a leadership capacity. Must also be willing to maintain a flexible schedule, including the ability to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet business demands.
