• Mission: To support KWC CPAs’ clients by assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and preparing various tax returns and financial statements.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual, corporate, trust, and partnership tax returns, including extensions, and conduct tax research to assist in tax planning.
• Audit & Review Support: Assist in the execution of audit, review, and compilation engagements, including the preparation of workpapers.
• Client Accounting Services: Perform bookkeeping tasks for businesses (including non-profits) and individuals, and complete corporate accounting engagements.
• Financial Reporting & Communication: Prepare financial statements and effectively communicate on a timely and responsive basis with reviewers, Managers, or Principals.
• Compliance & Professional Standards: Perform all work according to the firm’s methods, policies, and procedures, while conforming to the highest professional standards and integrity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with an understanding of the basic principles of accounting.
• Experience: One or more years of related experience.
• Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; strong understanding of US tax regulations and knowledge of state and federal tax form processes.
• Bonus: Professional experience in financial forecasting and risk analysis.
