This Staff Accountant position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key accounting functions across multiple states. What You’ll Actually Do
• General Accounting: Record daily financial transactions and assist with general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process AP and AR transactions while verifying invoice accuracy and coding.
• Financial Reporting: Support financial statement preparation and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Audit & Compliance: Assist with year-end audit preparation and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Provide support to payroll and accounting functions, collaborating with team members across departments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Early-career professional or recent graduate.
• Experience: 0–5 years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related experience. Internship experience is highly valued.
• Skills: Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, basic understanding of accounting principles, high attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and professional communication.
• Bonus: Exposure to QuickBooks or other accounting software, and an interest in building a long-term career with a growing organization.
