The TL;DR

• Pay: $32 hourly
• Team: Reports to an Account Manager
• Mission: Support Business Management Account Managers by processing financial transactions and assisting with client-related projects to ensure efficient client operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Financial Transactions: Accurately process and record accounts payable, cash receipts, and cash disbursements.
• Manage Vendor & Payroll Data: Set up new vendors in accounting software and enter payroll information.
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform bank account reconciliations and code credit card transactions.
• Support Financial Planning: Assist with budgeting, reforecasting, and record journal entries as directed.
• Handle Client Documentation & Projects: File and scan client documents, correspond with vendors for W9s and invoices, and complete special projects as assigned.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program specializing in business with a strong emphasis in accounting. This internship opportunity is designed for students seeking practical experience in the Business Management field.
• Experience: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future. The internship provides the same exposure as full-time Business Management Account Managers.
• Skills: Proficiency in processing financial transactions including accounts payable, cash receipts, and disbursements. Ability to perform bank account reconciliations, code credit card transactions, and enter payroll data. Familiarity with basic budgeting, reforecasting concepts, and recording journal entries.
• Bonus: Candidates planning to fulfill the 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 are strongly preferred.
