This role is crucial for an actuarial student to contribute to the development of key actuarial models, analyze financial results, and participate in regulatory submissions, supporting the core operations of the General Insurance business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Model Development: Develop and improve the various actuarial models used by the General Insurance teams.
• Financial Analysis: Help analyze experience results and participate in the production and analysis of monthly financial results.
• Regulatory Compliance: Take part in the production of regulatory rate change submissions.
• Research and Strategy: Participate in various research projects, market studies, and the company’s budget process.
• Underwriting Support: Maintain and develop the underwriting rules in place and contribute to various underwriting analyses.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently an actuarial student.
• Experience: Good knowledge of Excel; possesses written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Skills: Analytical ability, Aptitude for teamwork, Self-starter, Thorough.
