The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Gilbane Building, located primarily in the office with some travel to project job sites. What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Applications: Assist in the preparation and processing of pay applications.
• Receivables Management: Track and review accounts receivable.
• Payables Processing: Review and process accounts payable.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure overall compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Project Support: Provide accounting support for on-site project management teams.
• Payroll Assistance: Assist with payroll functions, including adjustments and closings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required for this entry-level position. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related capacity, ready to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively convey information to diverse audiences and collaborate with project teams. Demonstrated abilities in problem-solving, including identifying and prioritizing solutions, and agility in adapting to change are also key.
