• Mission: To support daily transactional accounting, perform reconciliations, and assist with financial close processes, contributing to accurate financial reporting while developing core accounting skills.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide comprehensive support for day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring smooth transactional flow.
• Process: Accurately record and process all vendor invoices and incoming customer payments, maintaining financial records.
• Reconcile: Perform thorough monthly account reconciliations to verify balances and identify discrepancies.
• Assist: Lend support to the month-end and year-end close processes, contributing to timely financial reporting.
• Prepare: Develop and prepare various journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate: Partner with internal teams to support accurate financial reporting and facilitate broader accounting processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; candidates with a Finance degree and an Accounting minor may also be considered. A fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential for this role.
• Experience: This is an early-career opportunity, with no prior professional accounting experience strictly required. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary. Candidates must possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage accounting tasks effectively.
