Finance Business Partner Co-Op/Intern – Summer 2027 | The Mosaic Company
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid internship at The Mosaic Company, located in Durham, NC. The Mosaic Company is the world’s leading integrated producer of concentrated phosphate and potash, essential nutrients for agriculture, employing over 13,000 people globally to help feed the world. This role offers students the opportunity to apply business and finance knowledge to real-world financial planning, analysis, and reporting, working closely with experienced professionals within a global leader.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support financial planning and analysis for Global Bioscience and Commercial SG&A spends.
• Perform day-to-day data and cost analysis, develop reports, manage data, and provide forecasting support.
• Assist in forecasting processes, including 5-year planning preparations and monthly/quarterly closing responsibilities.
• Execute special projects as assigned by offsite Finance Business Partners.
• Communicate with various levels of personnel, including management, commercial sales team members, and R&D professionals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, at a Sophomore level or higher by May 2027.
• Experience: Required experience working in a team environment, with a preferred 1-2 years of experience in volunteering, student/school organizations, or previous work.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and basic computer skills.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Excel proficiency, SAP experience, previous internship or co-op experience, and effective verbal communication skills.
