Merchandiser Trainee | Bunge

The Tone:
This is a full-time Merchandiser Trainee program at Bunge, initially based in Morristown, IN, with a clear requirement for future relocation to other Bunge sites. What You’ll Actually Do
Participate: Engage actively in the day-to-day operational activities at the assigned Bunge location, consistently promoting and abiding by Bunge’s critical zero incident and injury safety culture.
Develop Knowledge: Gain fundamental and practical knowledge of domestic and international cash grain and grain product marketing, trading principles, and various commodity flows.
Understand Operations: Develop a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the complex operational processes within elevator, milling, and oilseed processing plants.
Collaborate & Strategize: Work effectively in a team setting to collaborate on strategy development, problem-solving, and provide assistance in managing customer relationships, contracts, logistics, and data analytics.
Analyze & Support: Aid in evaluating constantly changing crop and market conditions, completing special project requests, and demonstrating comprehension through clear responses to supervisors, mentors, or team members.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university, with a desire to build a career in the food and agribusiness industry.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required for this trainee program, but a willingness to relocate for future career development and growth opportunities is essential.
• Skills: Collaborative, results-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities. Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in standard PC applications.
