Management Trainee | Carrier Enterprise
The Tone:
This is a full-time or part-time Management Trainee rotational program at Carrier Enterprise, with opportunities across its 200+ locations throughout 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico and Canada, requiring relocation upon program completion. Carrier Enterprise, a subsidiary of Watsco, Inc., is a world-leading HVAC/R distribution company with over 2,000 employees, distributing industry-leading equipment and aftermarket parts. What You’ll Actually Do
• Orientation: Understand Carrier Enterprise’s mission, vision, values, and culture.
• Knowledge Development: Develop product and sales knowledge, sales techniques, and marketing strategies.
• Sales Functions: Gain hands-on experience through residential, commercial, wholesale, and branch sales functions.
• Operational Exposure: Learn and participate in distribution and warehouse operations.
• Customer Service: Master the creation and delivery of a great customer experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level, requiring graduation within two years of obtaining a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
• Experience: No specific prior years required; willingness to travel during the training period and ability to relocate upon program completion are essential.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, self-motivation, tenacity, ambition, enthusiasm, and the ability to work in changing environments and manage complexity.
• Bonus: Strong interest in customer service, distribution operations, supply chain operations, store operations, or commercial engineering is a plus; internship experience in any of these areas is also beneficial.
