The TL;DR

• Team: Accounting/Finance Team, reporting to experienced professionals
• Mission: To support key accounting and finance operations, specifically in fixed asset management, customer data, tax compliance, and cost accounting processes.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, financial software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Asset Management: Set up, maintain, and manage the disposal of fixed assets within the accounting system.
• Customer Data: Update information for top customers to ensure accurate reporting and maintain current contact details.
• Tax Compliance: Review existing tax records and update relevant data to support state sales tax reporting.
• Cost Accounting: Review shop floor data to identify and suggest routing changes, and update standard costs accordingly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience required; this role is designed to provide hands-on experience in accounting and finance processes.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and keen attention to detail.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
