• Mission: Support the growth of the Commodity Structured Finance business across Asia-Pacific by originating, structuring, executing, and monitoring tailored financing solutions for commodity clients.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Growth & Origination: Support the strategic growth and development of the Commodity Structured Finance business across the region by assisting in the origination and promotion of structured finance solutions with Coverage Teams.
• Transaction Structuring & Execution: Structure and execute diverse CSF transactions, including pre-export, prepayment, inventory, and TradeCo-enabled financing, coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders for timely deal closure.
• Credit Analysis & Approval: Prepare comprehensive credit applications, perform detailed financial and credit analysis, and support internal approval processes for new and existing transactions.
• Portfolio Monitoring & Management: Monitor portfolio performance, prepare periodic credit reports, and manage credit-related developments to maintain a high-quality portfolio.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders across the bank to facilitate collaborative solution delivery and support strategic initiatives while maintaining strong risk and governance standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a directly related discipline, indicating a strong foundational understanding for a senior-level role in corporate and investment banking.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Structured Finance, Commodity Finance, Trade Finance, or Relationship Management specifically within Corporate & Investment Banking. This must include practical experience in preparing credit applications and supporting the execution of complex transactions.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong financial analysis and credit assessment capabilities. Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, alongside the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a demanding business environment.
