The Tone:
This is a full-time role at IBM Consulting, located in an IBM Client Innovation Center, likely in Hessen, Germany. IBM Consulting develops advanced Hybrid Cloud and AI solutions for innovative companies worldwide. This role is crucial for designing and implementing AI strategies that deliver tangible impact for clients, leveraging IBM’s portfolio and partner network.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze requirements and derive robust solution architectures.
• Development: Take responsibility for the design, development, integration, and testing of AI solutions across diverse platforms.
• Architecture: Conceive complex system and cloud architectures, selecting appropriate technologies and analytics components for performant, scalable solutions.
• Data Flow: Ensure continuous information flow through a deep understanding of data sources, formats, interfaces, and Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Leadership: Lead technical teams in complex project environments, applying strong consulting and client orientation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior career level. Master’s Degree in Informatics with a strong focus on AI / Machine Learning / Cognitive Computing and DevSecOps / AIOps.
• Experience: Proven experience in designing, evaluating, and implementing complex IT architectures with AI components using cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and established frameworks, including Generative AI and Large Language Models. Demonstrated practice in applying Large Language Models, generative, and agentic AI to develop scalable and robust AI/Cognitive Computing solutions.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of container technologies (e.g., OpenShift including GPU utilization), GenAI and Agentic architectures (e.g., RAG, agentic patterns), deep experience with DevSecOps/MLOps (CI/CD, ML Lifecycle), API design and integration, and very good programming skills in Python (e.g., PyTorch). Excellent German language skills (C1 minimum) and good English language skills (B2 minimum).
• Bonus: Experience in building hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Vanilla-Setups, OpenShift Container Platform, AWS, Azure). Knowledge and experience working with clients in the banking and financial services sector.
