Accounting Advisory Intern | Crowe

This is an Accounting Advisory Internship at Crowe. The TL;DR

• Pay: $27.00 – $42.00 hourly
• Team: Accounting Advisory team within Crowe’s Consulting Practice
• Mission: Help clients address complex business needs by analyzing data and delivering tailored business and technology solutions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, AI-enabled insights, emerging AI capabilities

What You’ll Actually Do
• Solutions Development: Analyze client data and deliver tailored business and technology solutions to address complex business needs.
• Financial Reporting: Support financial statement preparation and analysis, transform accounting processes, and implement new accounting standards for clients.
• Client Engagement: Conduct fieldwork, prepare workpapers to support conclusions, and discuss findings with client management.
• Reporting & Advisory: Develop clear, professional reports in various formats and advise clients on enhancing internal controls and interpreting new accounting standards.
• Risk Assessment: Assess financial and operational risk for clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. College seniors or graduate students graduating within the next year, pursuing degrees in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, and on track to meet CPA eligibility (150 credit hours).
• Experience: Relevant work experience obtained through internships, part-time jobs, or campus involvement, coupled with strong academic performance.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfort with data analysis tools, critical thinking, effective communication, and strong organizational abilities.
• Bonus: A collaborative mindset, a commitment to continuous learning, and willingness to travel.
