Accounting Practitioner | Gilbane Building

This is an in-office role for an Accounting Practitioner at Next 150 Construction, a fully owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company. What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable Processing: Systematically scan and process accounts payable invoices to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping.
• Payment & Voucher Administration: Efficiently process payments, manage incoming invoices, and handle vouchers in accordance with established protocols.
• Payroll Data Coordination: Oversee the collection and approval of timesheets, as well as managing other related elements crucial to the payroll process.
• Document & Information Management: Extract specified information from various documents, apply appropriate standard coding and attachments, and compile simple summaries of processed data from files and records.
• Accounting Team Assistance: Provide direct support to a Senior Accounting Practitioner, operating under close supervision to contribute to overall team efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience.
• Skills: Very good written and verbal communication skills, familiar with Microsoft Excel, familiar with Microsoft Word.
