• Mission: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for a large portfolio of entities by performing high-volume reconciliations, data analysis, and maintaining reliable financial records.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internal systems, Reporting tools, PDF management software (Nuance PDF a plus)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Assistance: Assist with the preparation and completion of more than 2,000 monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Reconciliation Management: Perform high-volume reconciliations of bank statements and financial reports, identifying discrepancies and supporting appropriate resolution.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data across multiple accounts and entities to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain and track monthly bank statements and related financial information using internal systems and reporting tools.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate closely with team members and internal stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues, communicate directly with Sales Agents, and fulfill information requests from accounting teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in an office environment, with prior accounting, financial reporting, customer service, or clerical experience preferred. Experience with bank reconciliations, financial reporting, or other high-volume financial data activities is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for large datasets; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and time-management skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with PDF management software, strong keyboarding skills (65 WPM or higher), and strong 10-key proficiency.
