What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Assistance: Assist clients in the selection, implementation, and support of applications, methodology, and tools.
• Technology Expertise: Be trained to perform as an expert on existing and/or new applications specialized around areas like Cloud, Blockchain, DevOps, Enterprise Applications, and Mobile.
• Data Integration: Help clients integrate enterprise-wide data to improve performance and efficiency.
• Market Research: Research client organizations and industry value chains, drawing from primary and existing IBM research on evolving market trends.
• Strategic Recommendations: Identify issues, create hypotheses, and execute analysis to develop decision-ready recommendations for clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with a Bachelor’s Degree, ready to contribute to business transformation and technology consulting.
• Experience: Exposure to tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, OpenAI, or similar AI assistants for researching, writing, analyzing, and improving productivity, while applying critical thinking and validation.
• Skills: Exceptional quantitative analysis skills to derive data-informed recommendations, powerful communication and storytelling skills to convey complex situations clearly, and the ability to apply logic to solve ambiguous problems and deliver creative solutions.
• Bonus: Preferred majors include Computer Science, MIS/IT, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Software Engineering; a passion for understanding and applying emerging technologies; strong problem-solving capabilities; high resilience to handle multiple tasks; and experience in Operations areas such as HR, IT, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales and marketing, and/or Finance.
