Operations Manager in Training | EōS Fitness
The Tone:
This is a full-time training role at EōS Fitness, involving in-person work across various gym locations during the program. • Team: Operations team, working closely with Regional, District, and Gym Managers
• Mission: This role aims to develop future leaders who can effectively manage and lead in the fitness environment, ensuring operational excellence and supporting the company’s core purpose of creating loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Training Engagement: Actively participate in a structured onboarding program, lasting up to six weeks for external candidates, specifically designed for operations leadership development within the EōS Fitness environment.
• Operational Management: Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of gym operations, including member scheduling, data reporting and analysis, strategic planning of daily activities, and consistent adherence to equipment and cleanliness standards.
• Service Team Leadership: Oversee the daily tasks of the Service team, which includes greeting and directing members, guests, and staff upon entry, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-desk experience.
• Leadership Development & Support: Shadow experienced gym managers to learn day-to-day leadership practices, observe and foster team collaborations, and potentially assume acting managerial roles for shifts under supervision as part of the developmental process.
• Member Experience & Sales Support: Provide direct assistance to members by addressing their requests and inquiries, perform necessary administrative duties, and actively support sales initiatives, including new membership sales, upselling, and contributing to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: Training Manager. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of leadership practices, preferably gained within the fitness or customer service industry.
• Experience: A minimum of six months of previous experience in a leadership capacity, ideally within either the fitness or a customer service-oriented environment, demonstrating readiness for management responsibilities.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong communication skills, essential for effective interaction with members, guests, and internal teams. Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities, crucial for managing diverse daily operational tasks. Ability to inspire and collaborate effectively with teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
