What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Close Support: You will play a key role in supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is meticulously handled and recorded for accurate reporting.
• Reconciliation & Entries: You will prepare and systematically maintain critical account reconciliations, generate precise journal entries, and organize all necessary supporting schedules to uphold financial integrity.
• Operational Accounting: You will actively assist with accounts payable tasks, meticulously track and record cash activity, and efficiently manage expense reporting processes for the organization.
• Financial Analysis: You will contribute to analyzing key financial data, proactively investigate any significant variances that arise, and help provide valuable insights to internal teams.
• Process Improvements & Projects: You will partner with various internal teams on ad hoc reporting, actively contribute to developing and implementing process improvements, and support special projects aimed at building scalable accounting frameworks as the company continues its growth trajectory.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential. This role is specifically designed for an individual early in their career who is committed to building a strong foundation in accounting.
• Experience: You should possess at least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, audit, finance, or have completed a meaningful internship that provided exposure to financial operations and practices.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong attention to detail, solid proficiency in Excel for financial data manipulation and analysis, an organized and proactive approach to managing multiple priorities, and a collaborative mindset with a willingness to ask questions and take initiative.
