Corporate Accountant | Saber Interactive

Saber Interactive is a game developer and publisher, known for working on a diverse portfolio of titles across genres and platforms, often collaborating with globally recognized entertainment franchises. The Corporate Accountant is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting critical financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. • Mission: This role is responsible for maintaining accurate general ledger records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and meticulously prepare and post all necessary journal entries.
• Execute comprehensive account reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts on a regular basis.
• Support the full cycle of month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all required steps.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting, track cash flow, and conduct detailed variance analysis to provide actionable financial insights.
• Coordinate effectively with external auditors during financial reviews and support all necessary tax and regulatory filings to ensure compliance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Possess strong foundational knowledge of corporate accounting principles, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and a clear understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements relevant to audits and tax filings.
• Experience: Proven experience in executing general ledger management, performing comprehensive account reconciliation, and supporting both month-end and year-end closing processes. Demonstrated capability in assisting with financial reporting and analysis, which includes practical experience in budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance reporting.
• Skills: Proficient in using quickbooks enterprise accounting software and possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis. Exhibit excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, coupled with a strong focus on accuracy, problem-solving, and the ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines.
• Bonus: A CPA certification or active progress toward obtaining certification is beneficial, as is prior experience gained within the entertainment, technology, or gaming industries.
