The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at Cart.com, a company that provides digital and physical infrastructure to enable commerce operations for thousands of B2B and B2C companies globally. This position is vital for providing direct operational support to the Digital team, ensuring the seamless flow of goods through troubleshooting and problem-solving within the warehouse environment. The Buffer Coordinator plays a critical part in maintaining efficiency and addressing issues swiftly to keep commerce operations running smoothly.

• Team: Provides operational support for the Digital team and their staff.
• Mission: Solves and troubleshoots systematic and mechanical issues with pick totes and related systems to ensure smooth pick, pack, and sorting operations.
• Tech Stack: WM, Dematic, Dematic Sort Director, Mainframe, Word, Excel.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investigate, document, and resolve issues related to pick totes utilizing WM and Dematic systems.
• Communicate effectively with Digital Pick and Pack floor teams regarding operational status and concerns.
• Manage the controlled flow of totes to sorters as directed by the Pack Floor team.
• Troubleshoot systematic problems within Dematic and WM, as well as mechanical issues such as jams or line stoppages.
• Develop, create, and analyze detailed logs of any encountered issues with problem totes for tracking and resolution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-level experience in operational support, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Experience: Proficiency in WM and Dematic Sort Director systems.
• Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational and time management skills, ability to accurately work with statistical data and identify inconsistencies, and proficiency in mainframe, Word, and Excel.
