Job Description

Marketing Intern | Autter

The Tone:
This is a marketing internship at Autter, a company currently pre-launch with a waitlist and a product that is almost ready to ship. Autter aims to make engineering measurable, manageable, and truly transformative, serving as the assurance layer for the AI coding era, backed by humans. This role is crucial for building the company’s market presence before its official launch. You will work directly with the co-founder on content, distribution, and the kind of early-stage go-to-market work that often lacks a predefined playbook. The company emphasizes that good judgment matters more than prior experience for this opportunity.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time or near full-time
• Location: Remote, IST

• Team: Reports directly to the co-founder.
• Mission: To proactively build Autter’s market presence and establish early-stage go-to-market strategies before the product officially launches to the public.
• Tech Stack: Customer.io, Notion, or similar tools.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Write and schedule engaging social content for distribution across platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Email Marketing Management: Help manage the waitlist newsletter, including drafting compelling campaign copy to engage prospective users.
• Audience & Market Research: Conduct research to identify relevant communities, publications, and online forums where engineering leads actively spend their time.
• Outreach Support: Assist with developing and executing outreach sequences and warm-up campaigns to connect with potential users.
• Performance Analysis: Track the effectiveness of marketing efforts, analyzing what’s working well and surfacing observable patterns and insights.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in developer tools, SaaS, or the dynamics of early-stage startups.
• Experience: While specific prior experience is less critical than good judgment, candidates must be organized enough to effectively manage a content calendar without requiring constant oversight or hand-holding.
• Skills: Possess strong writing abilities, capable of matching and consistently maintaining a defined brand voice without drifting. Must be comfortable working independently and navigating tasks with loose or open-ended briefs.
• Bonus: Experience specifically writing for a technical audience. Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Customer.io, Notion, or similar platforms. Prior internship experience within a startup or a product-led company. Demonstrable experience having built something on the internet, even if it was a small personal project.
