Supply Chain Co-Op – Fall 2026 | Flex

The Tone:
This is a full-time co-op at Flex, located in Orangeburg, SC. Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner that enables market-leading brands to design, build, and deliver innovative products worldwide. • Mission: Support strategic inventory initiatives focused on improving material margin and inventory turns (ITO) by identifying inventory-reduction strategies, enhancing operational performance, and contributing to smarter demand-management decisions.
• Tech Stack: Baan, Tableau, Excel, Power BI

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze inventory data: Assist with analyzing inventory data for Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory and component-level liability data to identify high-risk items and inventory reduction opportunities.
• Conduct weekly E&O analysis: Conduct weekly E&O inventory analysis to identify variances, trends, and best practices to support during account reviews with SSCMs, PMs, and GAMs.
• Support inventory management tools: Assist in site training, webinars, and implementation of inventory management tools, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure contractual inventory terms are digitized and maintained.
• Contribute to executive initiatives: Support executive-level initiatives, including Customer Collaboration Platform development, Inventory Liability Management, and automation of Contractually Claimable Inventory.
• Develop reports and improve processes: Work with data from ERP and supply chain systems to develop actionable dashboards and reports, assist in preparing presentations for leadership review, and help identify and implement process improvements across global SIOP activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; this is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: Available to work 40 hours per week (in-person) for the Fall semester, currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university, and maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Bonus: Familiarity with supply chain principles, sourcing strategy, or cost analysis, prior internship or coursework in procurement, logistics, or manufacturing, and comfort working cross-functionally with operations and engineering teams.
