What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain Operational Insight: Rotate through various divisions to shadow and train in key supply chain functions including transportation planning, procurement, customer service management, sales, driver relations, and contract negotiations.
• Develop Core Skills: Receive direct job training and experience in specific operations roles such as Asset Manager, Customer Service Representative, and Load Planner within the Operations Department.
• Ensure Regulatory Adherence: Train in Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations to ensure compliance and understand the critical legal framework governing transportation and logistics.
• Broaden Industry Knowledge: Engage with various departments, including Driver Recruiting, Accounting, Fleets, Safety, Sales, and Pricing, to gain comprehensive company and industry exposure.
• Understand Logistics Principles: Gain practical experience and a foundational understanding of general transportation and logistics management principles.
