2026-2027 Finance & Commercial MBA Development Program (FCMP) Intern (Returning Intern) | Chevron

The Tone:
This is an internship at Chevron, located in Houston, TX. Chevron, a major energy company, operates the Finance & Commercial MBA Program (FCMP) which has been a primary source of senior leadership since 1946. This internship serves as a critical entry point to a two-year rotational program designed to expose future leaders to various finance and commercial aspects of the business. The role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact and interact with senior management, laying the groundwork for a potential career path toward leadership within the company.

The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Houston, TX
• Pay: $12825 monthly
• Mission: Introduce individuals to Chevron’s FCMP and provide immersive experience with the full-time rotational program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Exposure: Experience various aspects of Chevron’s business across Upstream, Midstream, Downstream & Chemicals, Energy Transition, and Corporate departments.
• Project Contribution: Make a direct and meaningful impact on the organizations and assignments where you work.
• Networking & Mentorship: Build a strong network and gain exposure to senior Chevron leadership, program members, and alumni.
• Professional Development: Participate in structured training, social events, and networking opportunities throughout the 10-12 week program.
• Program Immersion: Gain an introduction and hands-on experience with the offerings of the full-time FCMP two-year rotational program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Permanent U.S. work authorization required (no exceptions). Pursuing an MBA with a solid grasp of finance/accounting principles.
• Experience: 3+ years of pre-MBA work experience. Flexibility and desire to explore a variety of businesses.
• Skills: Outstanding leadership potential, strong analytical skills, business acumen, effective communication skills, and maturity.
