The TL;DR

• Team: Leads a team comprising warehouse staff, shipping coordinators, and contract workers, while collaborating directly with ownership and Customer Service Representatives on operational matters.
• Mission: To proactively oversee and optimize warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring stringent regulatory compliance and driving strategic improvements in overall operational efficiency and logistics performance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Supervise and provide clear, actionable guidance to warehouse staff, shipping coordinators, and contract workers, ensuring their collective efforts consistently meet established performance goals.
• Logistics Management: Efficiently coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments using third-party carriers and various logistics platforms, diligently managing necessary booking, administrative tasks, and proactively resolving any shipping-related issues.
• Warehouse Operations: Meticulously oversee all facets of order processing, including precise picking, secure packing, and timely shipping operations, while actively stepping in to address and rectify any workflow or accuracy challenges that may arise.
• Regulatory Compliance: Uphold and ensure stringent compliance with all applicable safety regulations, distribution standards, and broader industry requirements across every operational aspect.
• Process and Inventory Optimization: Strategically monitor inventory levels, actively optimize warehouse organization, and continuously streamline fulfillment processes, contributing significantly to strategic planning, process improvements, and team training initiatives in collaboration with ownership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. Possesses a strong foundational and applied knowledge of comprehensive distribution processes, efficient warehouse operations, and robust supply chain logistics management principles crucial for optimizing activities in Cincinnati.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct experience specifically in operations or logistics management, coupled with proven proficiency in third-party carrier coordination and a demonstrated familiarity with various logistics software and tracking systems.
• Skills: Exhibits effective leadership and team management abilities to guide and motivate staff, possesses excellent problem-solving skills alongside meticulous attention to detail, demonstrates a strong capability to ensure stringent regulatory compliance and uphold critical safety standards, and utilizes robust communication and collaboration skills for effective engagement with all internal and external stakeholders.
