Operations Manager – Bethel | OnTrac

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at OnTrac, located in Bethel, PA. OnTrac, founded in 1986, is the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses in the U.S. This position is vital for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient direction, coordination, and evaluation of facility units and team members. The Operations Manager plays a key role in the company’s commitment to delivering essential services.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Friday to Monday from 1:30pm to 12:00am (Schedule subject to change)
• Location: In-person, Bethel, PA
• Pay: $79800–$119700 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Regional General Manager; responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of units and team members within the facility.
• Mission: To provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, serving as the Site Lead Operations Manager for the facility and any satellite projects.
• Tech Stack: MS Office Suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Management Guidance: Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization’s services.
• Budget Oversight: Direct, plan, and prepare budgets based on corporate goals and objectives.
• Performance Reporting: Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Staffing and Development: Maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions, including coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management, and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions.
• Contract Adherence: Ensure adherence to all aspects of contracts and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to operating agreements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager career level, with a GED/Diploma required.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years management experience, with 2 years in a similar industry; or an equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience. Also, 6 years’ experience in the industry or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills; ability to inspire a shared vision, empower, and engage a team; strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related discipline; last-mile delivery or small parcel experience; experience with an independent contractor model.
