What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Planning: Lead the financial planning processes including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
• Business Performance: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and new products, providing clear insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Cost Management: Support profitability and cost management initiatives by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across the financial services portfolio.
• Decision Support: Partner with business leaders to provide decision support for revenue growth, expense optimization, capital allocation, and risk management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and reporting packages, while supporting regulator, compliance, and audit requirements by ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), preferably supporting Financial Services (e.g., Credit Cards), and experience developing and presenting business cases.
• Skills: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle), strong quantitative skills including knowledge of Data-base environments (MS SQL Server), and a deep understanding of financial services operations and financial regulations.
• Bonus: Experience supporting regulated financial products or services, and strong analytical and technical skills in Power BI and SQL.
